I've known Marie for over 30 years. She was resilient, independent, and strong. If she got knocked down, she stood right back up. She had a lot of little medical problems over the years, but nothing much slowed her down, and she rarely complained. She kept her good looks and it's hard to believe that she was 80...really ...80?? Once I watched Dan & Marie setting up an estate sale. They worked in harmony while moving furniture, reading each other's mind as to what went where. It was so obvious that Theirs was what a solid marriage looked like. They were two halves of a whole, best friends forever. She was well respected by her vendors and customers alike. She worked so hard putting together a flea market every month. It was difficult for her to turn it over to the VFW post, but, even then, she kept on working at it as a vendor herself. She tried to keep everyone happy, no easy task. She was stubborn, the kind of stubbornness that enabled her to keep on going and going. I was a little miffed at her once...we bet money on the Gore/ Bush presidential election...and she won the bet. When it was all over, I ran into her at a garage sale and stuffed the money into her hand. She just looked at me and smiled. Well, Marie, we're going to keep your flea market going and we will keep you in our thoughts. You did a lot of good. Janice

Darren and family,
so sorry to learn of the passing of Mrs Neaverth. The few times I met her, I knew she was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, and women. Her genuine kindness and funny sense of humor made me feel welcomed in your home. Although I know she will be missed, you all were truly blessed to have her in your life.
