loving grandfather of
Fiona and Lilah Kraemer; son of the
late Stephen and Dorothy (Bielak)
Pankow; brother of Robert (Debbie),
Margaret “Peg,” James “Pinky” (Candi),
Anne (Charles) Black and Tommy
“Pinky” Pankow; also survived by many
nieces and nephews. Friends may call
Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and
7-9 at the JAMES W. CANNAN
FUNERAL HOME INC. (Southtowns
Chapel), 3155 Orchard Park Rd.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at
2:00PM at the Ebenezer United Church
of Christ, 630 Main St., West Seneca,
NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may
be sent to Boy Scout Greater Niagara
Frontier Council, 2860 Genesee St.,
Buffalo, NY 14225 and/or Ebenezer
United Church of Christ. John was a
US Navy Veteran serving in the Viet-
nam War. He devoted over 50 years
of his life to the Boy Scouts, where he
received the rank of Life and the Vigil
Honor in the Order of the Arrow. He is a
Silver Beaver Award Recipient, a White
Buffalo Scout Master and a Wood
Badge Recipient.
