Obituary of Patrick J. Donohue
Beloved husband of 61 years to Jeanette (Wangler) Donohue; loving father of Catherine Donohue, Theresa (Michael) Swanekamp, Pamela (Kevin) O’Brien and Elizabeth (Randy) Yerges. Devoted grandfather of Benjamin Swanekamp, Elise (Christopher Plano) Swanekamp, Rosalie and Patrick O’Brien, Madison and Carly Yerges. Brother of James (Kathryn) Donohue, Eugene (Mary Lee) Donohue, Mary Irene Donohue and Lawrence (Deborah) Donohue. Brother-in-law of Mgsr. Donald A. Wangler and the late Robert (Marilyn) Wangler. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC. (Southtowns Chapel), 3155 Orchard Park Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 am at St. John Vianney Church (please assemble at church). The burial will follow Mass at the Woodlawn Cemetery. Flowers are graciously declined. Mr. Donohue was an avid tennis player. He shared the love of the outdoors with his wife, retired after 45 years of service at Westinghouse and was a Veteran of WWII and the Korean War.
