Obituary of Mary A. Goold

Mary, who had just celebrated her 87th birthday, passed at her home on February 9, 2018, while sitting in her favorite chair and watching TV. She is now re-united with the love of her life - her husband "Mike," and two of their children, Lori Jeanne and Michael. Mary, also known as "Mamie", had a kind and caring heart. She valued family and friends and loved visiting, celebrating holidays, and having large birthday celebrations to get everyone together. Her positivity, stubbornness, and faith helped her to savor life and face its challenges. Mary was an avid bowler in her younger days, with a high score game of 275! In her golden years, she had fun playing Bingo and the slots. She was THE number one Bills fan. Her all Bills-decorated Christmas tree has been up continuously for the past 28 years, where she said it would stay until they won her a Super Bowl! Mary is survived by three children: Debbie, Kathy and Mary; her brother, George; 7 grandchildren - Jeannine, Lauren, Katie, Hillary, Doug, Lori and Ella; and 2 great-grandchildren, Talin and Lucas. A Memorial Service will be held on February 24 at 11:00 am at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC. (Southtowns Chapel) 3155 Orchard Park Road. All family and friends are welcome to attend to honor Mary's life and share their fond memories of her.
