When Pat and Susan still lived in Buffalo, I was always excited to go visit them if there was a gathering at Nell's house. She was always kind and welcoming to me when I visited, as if I had always been in the family. I understand from my own experience why she was so beloved by her family and friends and what a treasure she will always be. I hope that knowing how many lives Nell touched is a comfort to her family.
