Our condolences for your loss. Mrs Grannell was the Colden nurse and cared for both my daughters when they weren’t feeling well. My youngest loved her so much Mrs Grannell considered her a frequent flyer in the nurses office. A lot of fond memories of her. May she RIP so sorry for your loss she was a wonderful woman and will be missed ❤️

So sorry to hear of your loss. Kathy was such a dear woman and wonderful nurse who truly had a way with children. She once gave my son the award for most visits in a school year - he wasn’t sickly- he just needed the slightest excuse to go visit her. I’m so grateful she was there for my boys now grown men. Kathy will forever be fondly remembered. A beautiful soul.

Mrs. Grannell saw all three of my children and me through elementary school. I do mean all of us to. I watched her deal with children of all kinds. We all admired her. She knew just how to deal with each child. We saw her cry over the lose of some also. She was a rock for me at all times. Kathy was a terrific woman. May the happy memories help you, her family, get through this. Thank you all for sharing her.

I was so sad when I heard the news about Kathy becoming an angel for her grandchildren. It was still so early in her life. I am thankful she married Tom and had Laura because she is one of my favorite humans in the entire world. My condolences, love and hugs to all the family. As a former CES parent, I couldn't have asked for a better school nurse for my boys. She was so kind and caring. My older son was the recipient of one of her guardian angel pins; she gave these pins to a few 5th graders as they were leaving CES that she felt needed a little extra watching over :) May the memories of this lovely lady bring peace to her family.
