This incredible man will be missed by so many. Not only did he share his love with his children and grandchildren, but it extended to his nieces and nephews. I was a niece blessed with his love and care as I grew up. He always made me feel like I was an important part of his family. We never parted without a hug and/or kiss. He offered guidance when I rebelled and wouldn't listen to my own parents. Uncle Howie was such a kind and loving person. I have so many fond memories of a wonderful man who lived a full and generous life. It is said that sometimes very special people come into your life and leave footprints on your heart. I will always have him in my heart. Even though time and distance kept us from seeing each other in recent years, it was a joy to be with him at family events. I will miss you. Until we meet again, rest in peace. Know that you have lived a good life. God Bless!
