Prayers for comfort to whole family especially his wife and sons.Im sorry for your loss. I hadnt seen Rick for over 41 yrs but I have heard always good things about him . Im glad he was able to share his talent and love of music .Prayers for peace that passes all understanding. God bless.

Such sorrow. Unbelievable sorrow pangs immeasurably in my heart, my soul, my essence. I will always treasure my time on this earth with Rick. After all the ‘why’s’ cannot be answered, Rick’s spirit is always with us all. He will be truly missed and will always bring tears of sorrow and joy to me, whenever I think of him, and that is often. My life is richer for having known you. You’ve left a legacy in your two son’s whom I’m sure will keep making you feel proud. You’ve left a legacy in many arena’s but you’re musical abilities surpassed many and your stage energy entertained many everywhere. RIP RICK “Animal” McEvoy. God blessed you. May he continue to bless Carrie and your family for a long time to come.

Rick was one my best friends, as close as one of my brothers. He was always fun to be with or play music with. He was the most honest and down to earth person that God put on this planet and I admired his integrity and felt lucky that he was a part of my life. I’ll miss his being there when I needed an objective ear and I will cherish our debates forever. God bless you little brother. We will jam on the other side.

We are both so sorry for your loss. Rick was a great person and we loved to catch up with him when we could be at the family reunion picnics. We may not have seen him and the family much over the years due to our moving to Ohio, but the times we spent will be cherished. We pray for his family that you find peace in the memories you share.
