Beloved husband of the late Dorothy L. “Dottie” (Leary) Daley. Dear father of Maureen (Ken) O’Connor, Jane (Dr. James) Steinmetz, Bill (Jeanie) Daley, Ellen (Bill) Roloff and Karen Rossi. Loving grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Son of the late George and Martha (Daley) Hoare. Brother of the late George (late Alice) Hoare, Doris (late Eugene) Rose, Mary (late Thomas) Hart, William (late Peggy) Hoare, John (late Genevieve) Daley, Martha (late Charles) West, Joseph (late Lorraine) Hoare and James (late Erika) Daley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC (Southowns Chapel), 3155 Orchard Park Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at St. Martin of Tours Church at 11:15 am, (please assemble at church). Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Rd., 2nd Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540. Mr. Daley was a member of the ROMEO Club and a proud graduate of the very first graduating class of Bishop Timon High School.
