I am so very sorry to learn of Patty's passing. Truly eternity has gained an angel! Patty was one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure to meet. She and I met through our Duchenne community and being in Rochester the same time Zach attended RIT, I offered to be a local contact for him. We worked together for a while on obtaining PCA coverage for Zach and talked often on the trials of raising independent young men with DMD. She had the love so strong for Zach with the goal and intention to give him as much independence as possible. Truly a most unselfish and intelligent Mom. My heart and prayers go out to all involved and pray God rest her soul.
