My heart aches every time I look at a photo of my husband...our silly photos to the day we got married. My heart hurts even more to come to grips with the fact my in laws refused to inform me that my husband passed while I was out of town...they cremated my husband unbeknownst to me and with absolutely no recognition in his eulogy and that is something I will not be able to gain closure from. His spirit will live on in those whom have cared for and gained memories with him.
