Dear Pauline and Family,
I will always think of Jack's smile, his kindness, and the time and encouragement he so generously gave. It is an honor to have know Jack, and I feel so disappointed that he and I didn't have that lunch we talked about last year- my loss! Jack's passing to a life with our Lord just reinforces that when you know someone special like Jack, don't wait until tomorrow to get together.
With love and respect,
Tony Franjoine

I am so sorry for your loss. I’ve known Jack for 48 years. From our early days at National Fuel to becoming close family friends with his brothers Michael, Paul and all the “Burke Children”. Pauline and Michael - Please accept my deepest sympathy. Jack was a friend my entire life. From the time we were small children our parents and we kids had many happy times - visiting and picnicking and then all our years at National Fuel. I watched all of Jack's transitions and always enjoyed his follies. You can be proud of the great dad and wonderful spiritual advisor he was. I would be visiting you during the wake process and Mass if we weren't in Florida. My prayers are being offered for all of you. God Bless your family.
