McGOWAN - Florence A. (nee Bajorek) October 18, 2016, beloved wife of the late Louis McGowan; dear mother of Thomas (Joyce), Mark, Elyse (John Hoenig) McGowan, Kurt (Marcia) McGowan and the late Beverly (Gary) Losel; loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sister of Walter (Mamie) Balon, Modesta "Toots" (late James) Cronin, late Marion (late John) Bieganski. Friends may call Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday from 4-8 PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC. (Southtowns Chapel), 3155 Orchard Park Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Heaven, Saturday at 11:30 AM. (Please assemble at church.) Florence was an active and dedicated member at St. John the Evangelist Church and Parish, she was also involved with South Buffalo Football, South Buffalo Swimming and was a Teacher's Aide at School 70
