Your husband and Dad was always the "nice Archway guy Tom" to me. I "knew" him over 20 years from the grocery stores I worked at that he called on. I am quite sure he never knew my name and probably "knew" me by the stores I worked at. I feel as though I know all of you from the wonderful stories he told me about all of you over the years. It seems like our conversations would also often turn to politics and the news of the day. He was an interesting, articulate man full of opinions and ideas and a willingness to explain them. He seemed to mellow somewhat over the years we talked, but he was always a hardworker with a big smile and a great attitude. I am sure you will all miss him terribly but I hope his presence in your lives will fill you with memories to carry you through your grief.

I got to know Tom when I worked at The Market in the Square. He and I always enjoyed a good conversation, usually about politics, or our beloved pet dogs. He always mentioned how proud he was of his children. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
