MALONEY - James L. "Moe" Passed away June 14, 2019. Beloved husband of late Dolores (Hergenroder); dear father of Jack (Casey) Maloney, Jim (Kathy) Maloney, Mary (Art) McCabe, late Dan (Kathleen) Maloney; loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; son of the late Leo Thomas and Viola (Petrie) Maloney; brother of late Mary Jane (late Norman) Anderson, late Thomas (Elaine) Maloney, late David (Judy) Maloney. Friends and family may call Monday from 4-8:00 PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., (Southtowns Chapel) 3155 Orchard Park Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Tuesday at 9:30 AM, (please assemble at church), the burial will follow the Mass at Nativity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Police Emerald Society 82 Fields Ave., Buffalo, NY 14210 (for the support of the South Buffalo Police Memorial) Mr. Maloney was the founder and president of Southtowns Community Federal Credit Union, he worked at the South Buffalo Railway for over 35 years, he was a member of the K of C Nash Council and the Senior K of C Nash Council and was active in many other South Buffalo Community Organizations.
