Kay passed away in peace on October
7, 2019. Beloved wife of Vincent “Doc”
Dougherty for 57 years; dear mother of
Eileen Dougherty, Teresa (David)
Krug, Michael “Doc” Dougherty,
Monica Dougherty and Diane (Joseph)
Kurek; loving grandmother of 11
grandchildren; cherished sister of the
late Anna (late Edward) Finger and
E. Patricia McPartland; sister-in-law
of Joan (late Harp) O’Brian and the
late Ruth Dougherty; also survived by
many nieces and nephews. Family
and friends may call on Friday from
4-8PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN
FUNERAL HOME, INC., (Southtowns
Chapel) 3155 Orchard Park Road.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated on Saturday at 9:30AM
at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 450
Abbott Road, Buffalo, NY (please
assemble at church). Flowers are
gratefully declined. Kay was one of the
founding members of the Beavers, who
also enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills
and traveling to Florida.
