Obituary of Norinne Ann Chudy

Please share a memory of Norinne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Beloved wife
of Max R. Chudy, Jr. for 68 years;
cherished mother of Louise Shuchter,
Dr. Max III (Frances), late Nancy,
Jeanette Farrell (William), Norman
(Debra), late Robert and Mary Bates
(Steve); loving grandmother of 12 and
four great-grandchildren. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be held Saturday
at 10AM at Nativity of Our Lord Church.
(Please assemble at church). No prior
visitation. Flowers gratefully declined.
Norinne had to quit school due to her
father’s death and started work at a
sewing factory until marriage. She
volunteered with Boy Scout Troops,
school bingos, and was a school
monitor for many years. She learned
how to drive in her early 40’s and would
drive the kids to Hickory Hill for tennis
and swimming and Kissing Bridge for
skiing. The family would also spend
summers in Ridgeway, Ontario for the
past 50 years. She enjoyed sewing her
children clothes but especially loved her
gardens and geraniums. Norinne had
osteoporosis and had broken multiple
bones over the years. Even with all
her pain, she managed to keep that
beautiful smile on her face. She will
be greatly missed.
