Passed away on Dec. 21,2019 devoted wife of Patricia(Ferron)Byrns, beloved father of Kathleen(Thomas)Mendola, George Jr.(Denise)Byrns and Patrick(Karen)Byrns, adored papa of William(Kimberly)Mendola, Daniel and Kevin Mendola, Stephanie(Michael)Cotterell, Caitlyn(Michael)Harlach and Kyle and Shawn Byrns, great papa of Alexis, Tyler, Mia, Averie, Anthony and Gwen, dearest son of the late Edward and Julia(Lonergan)Byrns brother of the late Edward(late Bettyann),late Mary(late Alfred)Mlinarchik, late William(Phyllis)Byrns, late Elizabeth(James)Devine and late Joseph Milligan and late Sheila(Edward)O'Brien; beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews, Funeral from the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC,(Southtowns Chapel)3155 Orchard Park Road Friday at 8:30am and a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, friends and family may call Thursday from 3-8:00pm, in lieu of flowers donations to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, George worked for the grain elevators for over 45 years, he was an avid golfer and loved his trips to Florida, the family would like to thank some very special people for their love and care they gave George at the OLV-Mercy Center.
