Wallace, Patricia M. (Jack) Pohlman, Donald B. (Janise), Dr. Kathleen G. (Daniel) Kane,
Barbara A. (Mark) Wagner, Jeanne M. (P.J.) Dowling, Susan G. (Jeffrey) Russell and the late Joseph E.
Griffin Jr.; proud grandfather of 25 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; brother of the late
Francis J. (late Patricia), Patrick J. (late Dorothy) and Msgr. Charles T. Griffin. Friends may call Friday
from 3-7 PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., (Southtowns Chapel),
3155 Orchard Park Rd,, Orchard Park, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at
St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 9:30. (Please assemble at the church). In lieu of flowers, donations may be
sent to the Griffin-Dorsey-Litterine Scholarship Fund at St. John Fisher College, 3690 East Ave.,
Rochester, NY 14618 and/or the Mercy Hospital Foundation. Dr. Griffin was an Army and Navy veteran.
He was a dentist, general practitioner and anesthesiologist. He also founded the Erie County Alcoholic
Clinic. He was an avid golfer and member at Wanakah Country Club.
