Bob was a resident of the facility my mom is currently at. I adored Bob. Very quiet, but if you spoke to him, he always had something to say. And I imagine he had quite an interesting life. Through our brief conversations, I learned of his occupation. Never knew he did it for 50+ years! Humble. I saw his face simply light up when another resident's family members brought their golden retriever closer so that Bob could pet him. There is a hole in my heart now each time I walk through the doors of Brookdale. Bob -- I'm glad I got to know you a little in the past several years and I hope that the next chapter in your journey is a peaceful one. We'll see you again someday. <<hugs>>
