Sandy was an inspiring English Educator at West Seneca. She was friendly, understanding, innovative and a great asset to the English Department. I remember Sandy as a teacher who was always concerned with her students. She navigated the issues of the time and delivered personal and meaningful instruction to her students -- all her students. Sandy was a friend at school. I missed her when she retired and am saddened at the news of her battle with Alzheimer's . My condolences to Ed and Erin, whom she loved very much. She was a model of the professional woman who cared for her family.
