Dear Eileen and Famiy,
Words cannot adequately express our deep sorrow about the loss of Mike. From our time at Southside and throughtout the years I considered Mike one of my closest friends. If you needed something he would always be there for you. Mary and I always enjoyed his company, and his sense of humor. He was never at a loss for a quick, witty comeback. He will live on in our hearts and in our memories. Please accept our sincere condolences and prayers for your peace.
All our love, Len & Mary Pawlewski

Dear Bogner Family,
My deepest condolences to the entire Bogner family.
I was fortunate to have met Mike when I began my career as a School Counselor for the Buffalo Public Schools over 20 years ago.
May the sympathy expressed serve to provide comfort and consolation that Mike made a positive difference in the lives of BPS students, teachers, and staff.
May God's blessings continue to provide your family with comfort, precious memories, and strength all of your days.
Sincerely,
Harold N. Harden
BPS School Counselor

Dear Eileen & Family,
I was stunned to hear about the passing of Mike. He was a special person. I first met Mike in 1964 when we were both faculty members at the new Woodlawn Junior High School. We became great friends. So many memories of Mike. We went skiing together. We had a super skiing trip to Vermont where we went skiing at Bromley and Stratton mountains.
We flew together in a Cessna 172 to Florida during an Easter break. I was the pilot. He was the photographer..
He would invite me to faculty social functions at the schools where he worked.
You have my deepest sympathy. Mike will not be forgotten.
Our prayers are with you.
Stan & Diane Nowak

Dear Eileen and Family,
So sorry for your loss, especially during these lonely, separated times. I remember Mike as one of the co-workers and supporters of the new faculty at newly opened Southside Jr HS in 1966. He always had an easy way about him and a willingness to help out. Years later, he was there at City Honors to help my son on his way to college. Warm thoughts and remembrances . Warm prayers for you and your family.

Mike brought a unique presence to the staff at City Honors. His reassuring and professional presence in the Guidance Office provided a safe haven for many students and staff. He was a “problem solver” whose insights and considered opinions resolved countless situations. We talked educational philosophy, baseball and the Bills. But always it was his love for family that carried the day and spoke to the essence of a fine man. I will miss our monthly breakfasts which provided opportunity to reminisce and reshare fond memories of our days at City Honors. I join the cadre of former students and staff in extending my condolences to Eileen and family. Good night to a gentle man.
