Margaret and Sharon, Beth, Susan and Patti- It was with profound sadness that I read of your Mom’s passing this morning. Memories almost five decades old passed through my mind, as if they occurred yesterday. I will always remember your Mom as a very classy lady with a good and keen sense of humor. She always had that smile, almost a smerk, whenever she thought she was being played. Your Mom, like mine, was proud of her Polish roots, but prouder of the Irish family she raised.
Please know that my warmest thoughts and prayers are for Mom and all of you at this time. I hope that all the fond memories of the years you all had together give you peace and cause you to smile. May Mom have Godspeed on her road to eternal rest, as she reunites with your Dad. And may God’s peace be forever with you and your families.
