Born March 23, 1989, passed away on January 13, 2021. Beloved son of Joseph J. and Jacqueline M. (Macy) Vona; dear brother of Amanda C. (Cody) Nowak and Natalie M. (Michael) Cronmiller; dearest grandson of Bernice (Polanski) Vona and the late Joseph R. Vona, the late Patricia C. (Kane) Fox and late Ernest M. Macy; loving uncle of Ophelia and Amelia; uncle and proud godfather of Jacob; also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Shaun had a love of animals and hockey and was a lifelong Sabres fan. Family and friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC. (Southtowns Chapel), 3155 Orchard Park Road. Due to the current health concerns in our area, we are limited to the number of people allowed inside the funeral home, we appreciate your patience while attending the wake. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, at 10:30 AM, at Our Lady of Victory Basilica, (please assemble at church). To honor Shaun’s battle with Fanconi Anemia the family will be starting a WNY Chapter for Fanconi Anemia Research and donations may be sent to https://gofund.me/18fb609e
