Although about 35 years my junior, Joe and I shared the same path. I also graduated from SUNY Maritime, and retired from the New York State Police. Joe and I even share the same birthday. I would have liked to have known him! I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Joe will be in my memory and my prayers for the rest of my life.
