A retired industrial executive succumbs at age 83 after a long illness.
A long time resident of Orchard Park. Graduated from Hamburg High School and Mohawk Valley Technical Institute before starting a career in the welding supply business of Harris Welding Equipment which he retired from in 2010 culminating 50 years in the business. He also proudly served his country after the Korean Conflict and had a great love of the outdoors, owning a cabin in the Adirondack Mountains. He is survived by his wife Rosemary and two daughters Michelle and Kristy and two grandchildren, John K. and Josephine K Roberts. Predeceased by his parents Ellsworth A. Kort and Anna Devine Davis along with his sister Nancy Mastellar. Services were held privately at the request of the family.
