Obituary of Elenora Jean Seib

Passed away on February 4, 2022. Beloved daughter of the late Eugene and Elenora (Korthals) Seib. Sister of Eugene Seib. Also survived and adored by many close friends. A Memorial to be held Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 11 am at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 724 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY, 14209. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Westminster Presbyterian Church Organ Fund. Born in 1949, Ellie became a lifelong resident of Hamburg after her family moved from Buffalo to the lakeshore during her early childhood. She attended Frontier Central Schools. She graduated from SUNY Fredonia and obtained her graduate degree from the Manhattan School of Music. After returning to WNY, she became very active in the local arts community. She served as the assistant organist at Westminster Presbyterian Church for over 30 years. She served as a vocal coach, music director, and accompanist for countless groups and individuals, and later taught at Niagara University. She made a lasting impression on many young and aspiring musicians through her talents and dedication to the performing arts, as well as in her church community.
