I never thought our conversation on Tuesday night would be the last of our 25+ year friendship. You were always the one I turned to for advice, my DJ partner, and just a great person all around. I'll never forget you putting your own birthday on hold to come to see my son when he was born, on August 8th, same as yours. I'm glad we were able to split time for the biggest show either of us played, there's nobody else I would have split that slot with. I love you so much Ruppert, I'm glad I had the privilege to call you my friend, and a close one at that. Every time I put those headphones on again I will think of you. God bless your soul, and my condolences go out to your wonderful family.
