Passed away October 30, 2022; Beloved husband of Kathleen (McGuire); Loving father of Isabella (Jackson Fleming, fiance) and John Patrick Nurt. Son of the late Jerome and Pauline (Banier) Nurt; Brother of Richard (Karen) Nurt, Renata (late Michael) Kraft and Larissa (Kenneth) Doyle, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3155 Orchard Park Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:00AM at Nativity of Our Lord Church 26 Thorn Ave. Orchard Park, NY. Please assemble at church. Mr. Nurt was an integral part of Seasonal Nursery, where he worked as a landscape designer for over 30 years, Past President of Christ the King Knights of Columbus, member of the Southtowns Walleye Association and author of The Forest Soldier.
