Marie Francine Ciocca Muscarella entered into eternal rest on December 25, 2022 after a long battle with the effects of Multiple Sclerosis. She was the loving wife of the late Angelo R. Muscarella, and is survived by her grateful children Angelo R. Muscarella, Frank S. Muscarella (Jennifer), Michele M. Muscarella Mas (Eddie), and Mary Jo Muscarella (James). She adored her grandchildren Angelo,Dominic, Eddie Antonio, Gabriella, Frank, and Thomas, and her great grandchild Angelo. She was the eldest sister of the late Rose Marie Ciocca Aldridge and her “baby” brother Arthur Ciocca. She grew up on the westside of Buffalo, graduating from Lafayette High School where it is rumored she played volleyball. After her husband passed, she became the glue that held her family together and returned to Buffalo State College obtaining a Bachelor's and Master's degree in teaching, specializing in Special Education. She taught many years in the Buffalo Public School system. She loved cooking every traditional Italian food and dessert, and shined brightly hosting family gatherings and Saint Joseph’s Day celebrations. She loved to travel and had the fondest memories of visiting Italy. She was an avid reader of all genres and a bonafide member of the Red Hat Society. She crocheted baby blankets, mittens, hats, and scarfs for everyone she knew and for some she did not.. She faced many heartbreaks in her life. She fought hard until her final breath. She will live on in the beautiful memories of all who knew her. She was loved.
