Coach Dan had a positive impact on hundreds of young people during his time with the St. John's swim program. The world would be a better place if more youth coaches were like him. If there were a picture next to the definition of "Good Man" in the dictionary, it would be Dan's.

Q: How would you describe Daniel to someone who had never met them?
A: I had the pleasure of coaching with Dan for several years as our kids attended St Johns in Kenmore together. Dan had such a calm and friendly tone with everyone he interacted with. Dan was witty with a great sense of humor. He cared for everyone and will always be remembered, at least by my daughters, for the encouragement, support and congratulatory candy bars (Reese) for obtaining a goal or breaking a record. Great coach. Great friend. You will be missed.
