Obituary of Anna C. Devaney

Passed away on May 25, 2023, beloved daughter of the late Michael J. and Bridget (Donlon) Devaney, dear sister of the late Rev. Michael J. Devaney, O.M.I. and the late Dolorita (late Robert) Gavin, loving aunt of Robert Gavin, Anne Gavin and Kevin Gavin. Friends and family may call on Monday from 2-4:00pm at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3155 Orchard Park Road in Orchard Park, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00am St. John the XXIII Church, (please assemble at church). The interment will follow the Mass at Nativity Cemetery in Orchard Park, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. John the XXIII Church, 1 Arcade Street, West Seneca, NY 14224. Anna was a retired Buffalo School teacher who taught for over 35 years and was a proud alumnae of Mount Mercy Academy and Buffalo State Teacher’s College.
