Beloved husband of the late Jeanne "Midge" (Hearn) Pettys and companion of 15 years Anne Jones. Loving father of Ann Danowski, Joseph, Susan (Gary) Pash, Margie (Geoff) Brandquist, Denise (John) Hillery, Maureen "Moe" Herlan, James, Michael (Susie) and the late Mary and Patrick Pettys;
Grandfather of 36 and great grandfather of 32.
Brother of the late Clifford Pettys, Harold Pettys, Eileen Cochran and Gladys Kane.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Sunday from 3-7PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC. 3155 Orchard Park Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:00AM at Queen of Heaven Church 4220 Seneca St. West Seneca, NY. Please assemble at church.

Mr. Pettys was a member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 14 and Schindler Elevator Corporation.
