Jim was my grandmother's (Helen McCarthy-Vallely) nephew. I have many fond memories of Jim and family visiting our home in Kenmore when I was a boy .I remember Jim as a guy who loved his family and the cottage he had in Canada which my family visited a number of times. One of my favorite memories as a boy was visiting a firehouse where he was assigned and crawling all over the firetrucks there. Once he even slid down the fire pole in the station house to demonstrate how it was done!
