To the family of Dick Fildes: I met Dick a long time ago when I was a rookie Firefighter assigned to Engine 24/Ladder 7. Although I was there for just a few short months, I remember Dick as a reserved, cordial and kind man who was liked and respected by everyone who knew him. My condolences go out to you.
