Of Genoa, OH, formerly of Amherst, NY, March 13, 2017, beloved husband of Diane (McIntosh) Knapp; dear father of James (Amber Gresh) Knapp, Re- becca Knapp, Terresa Henriot, Tammy Chavez and the late Kristine Knapp; loving grandfather of Thomas Leus- chner; dear son of the late Orliff and Emilee (Hall) Knapp; brother of the late Diane (late Richard) Swendler and late Carol (Michael) Andriaccio; also sur- vived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday from 2-5 and 6-9 PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC (Southtowns Chapel), 3155 Orchard Park Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 9:30AM at St. John Vianney Church (please assemble at the church). Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Center for Handicapped Children - CHC, 1085 Eggert Rd., Buffalo, NY 14226. Mr. Knapp was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was a talented mechanical and electrical engineer, who spent his career working in the steel industry over 30 years.
